From the first sensor to the first report
Compose the node
Pick the board, sensors and actuators in the browser. SENSE checks the pins and generates the firmware.
Flash over USB
Plug the node into your computer and load the firmware from the same page, with nothing to install.
Deploy and connect
Install the node on site. It connects over WiFi, LoRaWAN, Meshtastic, Ethernet or 4G and shows up on the map.

REAL CASE
Festa Major de Gràcia 2026: a street as a living lab
During the 2026 Festa Major de Gràcia, from 14 to 22 August, we ran a field pilot of SENSE on Carrer Fraternitat de Baix (Barcelona): measuring pedestrian flow and ambient conditions in the thick of the festival, with thousands of visitors a day and two rain spells. Around 200,000 steps were estimated over the week.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
What people ask us most
Does SENSE work without an internet connection?
Yes. Data capture, storage, analysis, rules, local alerts and dashboards all work without internet. Only outward-facing features need a connection, such as a public web address, WhatsApp or Telegram messages and remote access.
Where is the data stored?
On the SENSE-core controller, on your premises. Nothing is copied to a third-party cloud. By default data is kept for 90 days, and you can export it as JSON or make encrypted backups.
Can I reuse the sensors and cameras I already have?
Usually yes. SENSE works with open protocols (LoRaWAN, Meshtastic, WiFi, MQTT, HTTP/REST, RTSP and USB serial) and with IP, ONVIF, USB and CSI cameras.
Do I need programming skills?
No. Nodes are composed and flashed from the browser, and rules and alerts are set up in forms. A REST API is there if you want it.
How is people's privacy protected?
SENSE is built for the GDPR: data never leaves your premises, there are roles and per-sensor permissions, images are only visible with a session and people detection does no facial recognition. Many cases are solved with sensors alone, without cameras.
How long does deployment take?
The controller installs in under 30 minutes. A deployment like the Festa Major de Gràcia one was prepared and installed in about two weeks.
Can I buy or rent it?
Both. You can buy the hardware with a monthly SENSE-core licence, rent equipment for an event or a season, or start with a pilot of up to a month.
